The Internet under Crisis Conditions

In November 2002, the Computer Science and Telecommunications Board of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences published The Internet Under Crisis Conditions: Learning from September 11, an assessment of how the Internet fared during and after the attack on the World Trade Center towers, lessons learned from the experience, and how the Internet might play a greater role in responding to future crises.
